Velvet Owl

Ever time I turn around, I am falling in LOVE with wedding vendors and their fabulous work.  Here's another vendor that you MUST read more about.  We were lucky enough to get an interview with Velvet Owl...
ENJOY!
xoxo

Q: What makes your company stand out from other wedding vendors?
A: I think Velvet Owl stands out in its own unique personable way. I like to work one on one with the brides wedding theme or influence. I leave the option open to discuss helping the bride or groom choose a veil and or fascinator that compliments her bridal gown and chosen hair style.

Q: What made you decide to get into the wedding industry?
A: I started a little over a year ago researching magazines, web sites, and blogs, For my own wedding. I found myself frustrated trying to please what my mother had in mind for me (something more traditional) and what I felt would compliment my own style. Having an already creative background in design. I felt I could create hair pieces that suited other brides with the same dilemma.

Q: What are your hopes for brides and grooms?
A: My advice to brides and grooms is to try and concentrate on what pleases or makes them happy first. After all its their special day, it only happens once and you can't please everyone.

Q: What are 3 frequently asked questions to you from brides and grooms?
A: The most frequently asked questions are-
What can you create specifically for me?
Can you customize designs already in store? (answer: Yes)
What do think about adding my wedding colors into the hair piece?

Q: Tell us something that many people might not know about you:
A: Many people might not know that its a one woman show!
I design, produce, photograph, and model (or at least try to) almost all the pieces shown in the shop.

Q: How would a bride and/or groom contact you?
A: A bride and/ or groom can contact me for custom orders or questions either by email or through the website. tinyvelvetowl@aol.com -- http://www.velvetowl.etsy.com/

Q: What do you love most about your job?
A: What I love most about my job is all the gorgeous appreciation photos that come my way. It gets a bit touching to know that my creation was chosen for such a special moment in someone's life. I remember making the pieces and shipping them out, but I always wonder how they look on that particular day on the bride or groom.

Take a look...  BEAUTIFUL!!!
