www.MissNowMrs.com simplifies the married name-change process from 13 tedious hours to a 30 minute online experience.  Our service auto-completes all of a bride’s state/U.S. government name-change forms and notification letters while providing detailed filing information so she has more time to focus on the fun of being a newlywed! 

What made you decide to get into the wedding industry?

I had a great deal of trouble changing my name after my wedding in 2005 and complained to my husband that there wasn’t a website or service that could help me.  His told me I should start my own company that assisted brides through their name-change process and the idea for MissNowMrs.com was born! 

What are your hopes for brides and grooms?

I hope they realize how special this time in their lives is and take the time to enjoy their wedding planning, wedding, honeymoon and the happily ever after of newlywed life together! 

What are 3 frequently asked questions to you from brides?

Q: Do I have to change my name after marriage? A: No you certainly don’t have to change your name when you’re married. If you do decide to change your name, consider using an online service so you don’t waste hours of precious newlywed time researching forms, manually completing them and then trying to figure out the correct filing process.

Q: Should I book my honeymoon travel in my maiden or married name?  A: Use your married name on all honeymoon travel reservations so your current driver’s license/passport will match the tickets.

Q: Can I start the name-change process prior to my wedding? A: If you use the MissNowMrs.com service, you can complete all of your name-change forms in advance and then print them out when you return from your honeymoon.  Talk about being on top of things!

I have a Bachelors degree in Biology, and prior to founding MissNowMrs.com I had a career selling cancer diagnostic equipment.
